Have a moodle 2.5+ build: 20130606 system. Restores for a 15M backup file taking 10 minutes and a 247M backup file taking upwards of 20. I have optimized all tables, run mysqlcheck and followed all suggestions, given Mysql more memory, etc. Everything I do does not improve this so I suspect issue with restore process in Moodle.
System is a CentOS 6.4, 8Gb RAM, 2Tb Disk Space (over 1/2 available) and even in a restore process only 2% of the system resources are being used. Doesn't make sense.
Suggestions?
