No, I am talking about the email server settings. I am presuming that you are an admin - you need to go to Settings/Plugins/Messaging/Email and make sure that your smtp server is setup correctly.
Seeing as you have an error showing on your backups, this might be stopping the rest of backups from initiating. I would try running a cron again and seeing if it will allow the Front Page course to complete. Once you clear the error, they should run automatically from then on. If it does not clear, you might need to clear out some entries in your mdl_backup_controllers table to allow it to run.
