I too am receiving this 'exception' error when trying to copy a course.
We have just upgraded to 4.5 - copying courses worked fine in 4.0, which we have just come from....nothing other than the upgrade has occurred.
We have found that we can copy the course WITHOUT quizzes.....but who has courses without quizzes?? It is taking me approximately 3 hours to copy a course - backup/restore (because copy course doesn't work), add all the quizzes, add all the questions from the question bank, fix gradebook, fix restrictions
Did anyone ever manage to figure out the cause or a fix?
