When copying a course the category is not defaulting to same category as source course

Hello,

I noticed when I copy a course (currently using Moodle 4.1.14) that the course category in the copy edit form is defaulting to the first category in the list, not the same category as course being copied from. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this on purpose or should I create a ticket to add category copy defaulting?
