Thank you for your post. We are not allowed to modify any user progress using that checkbox ticking interface or any other methods, we cannot force users to retake any lessons either, that is the problem. :/ Progress is being made on the live site while we are modifying the copied course lessons on dev, and we are talking about thousands of users. We would like to do the restore at night in a couple of hours with a minimum downtime. Considering these, don't you think it is possible?
If not, it seems our only way to go is to schedule a maintenance day, so that our colleagues have time to modify the course.
