thanks for taking this on.
I only have the role manager in the system, but I reached out to an admin to provide the details you asked for.
I made sure that I did not do any additional actions in the system and did not navigate away from the page.
I expect that the backup.mbz gets created because I can see it in the corresponding restore area of the course.
However, the backup.mbz is significantly smaller than the backup file that gets created when I do a manual backup of the course. The difference is:
- backup.mbz: 20.0 KB
- manual *.mbz: 59.9MB
Thus I assume that the root for the problem is already in the creation of the backup.mbz.
The restore of the manual backup file works fine. Only the process is more cumbersome and I have to duplicate quite some courses.
BTW: I can run multiple backup and restore processes at the same time, without any issues. Thus I assume the system is not overwhelmed with background processes in general.
