Using one or two off setups and 'easy buttons' .... like bitnami for entire stack ... might seem like the best way to go, but ... there is always one of those 'buts' ... question for ya:
You have 4.3+ installed now ... great .. but what about future releases of that version:
4.3 is now 4.3.3 with more releases to come - code fixes as well as security updates.
And what of future releases ... 4.4 - which is the next version up from 4.3.x now!
And, if/when the newer versions of Moodle require an upgrade to PHP or DB, can you get those upgrades without wiping out all of it to begin again?
