We have developed a separate system where the staff can create new courses (from templates or copy old course) and easily populate them with students and staff.
The problem we have is that when the original course (or template) have activities with role overrides, the overrides in the new course is set back to moodle system or course category defaults.
Is the setting restore | restore_general_permissions not available via the Moodle API? I cannot find it here: https://wimski.org/api/3.8/d5/d0a/group__core__backup.html
