Day 2 of using the Moodle installer to make a 3.7 Moodle.
Today's task was to make a fresh install of Moodle 3.7.
Everything worked smoothly until I ran the Moodle. Right off the bat I got the sudden death message "Moodle 3.7 requires PHP 7.1.0"
My EIG-taken-over A Small Orange host said I had to purchase new hosting in order to get PHP 7.1.0
My steadfast Moodle helper had mentioned the now-well-known fact that EIG-owned hosting companies are worthless.
Here is the stone wall that gets me to leave EIG (A Small Orange).
The Saga Of Sherman Moving Up In The World Of Moodle may begin again after I have left the building and set up house keeping at a new hosting company.
Sherman here . . . over and out.
