Backup Categories and Restore it to a new Moodle

Hello,

I have a moodle site, and I want to re-create the same categories (also the hierarchy) in a different Moodle site.

I have dozens of categories, it is not great experience to do it manually,

Is there a way to do this like a SQL query or backup.

I tried to backup the table mdl_course_categories and restore this table into the DB of the new moodle instance. But it didn't workout.

Any help will be appreciated
