Since my last post, I have...
- Installed moodle 2.4 on a RHEL6 stand-alone server (old PowerEdge 2500)
- Adjusted /etc/php.ini so I could upload a moodle 1.9 backup
- Increased /etc/php.ini php script execution from 30 seconds to 5 minutes
- Successfully converted moodle 1.9 course to moodle 2.4
- Uploaded 2.4 backup to hosted moodle 2.4 server
- Restored moodle 2.4 backup on hosted server successfully
Now the problems...
- This takes allot of time
- Users are not imported with the courses
I am going to contact my ISP and see if there is a way to increase the php script execute time.
Also, how do I export users from 1.9 and import them in to 2.4?
Thanks to all for your contributions to this thread.
