Server Environment for Moodle 2.7.3 (destination): Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.5, PHP 5.4
Our destination production server seems to halt on course restoration. We have an old 2.4 Moodle (same environment as destination) that we are trying to move to 2.7. Upgrading 2.4 to any newer release did not work. It also locked/timed out. So we have a fresh 2.7 server ready and waiting. Every attempt to restore a backed up course results in a timeout. I have even upped the many timeout settings in PHP/FastCGI/IIS to 2 hours and still times out. A small segment of a course will appear after all the timeout stuff is said and done, but it's nowhere near the full course contents.
I have set up a test server on my personal web host (Dreamhost: Linux, Apache, PHP 5.4, MySQL 5.1) and restores worked perfectly into blank slate 2.5.9 installation. I have backed up the 2.5.9 course and tried restoring to 2.7.3, still no luck.
Ideas? Experiences? Solutions?
