We have setup a new Moodle 2.5 server ( running PHP in IIS ). We have an existing Moodle 1.9 ( very customised! ) which we have backups of all courses.
I have been trying to restore some of these courses into 2.5 - some work, and some do not. I cannot get to the bottom of why some work and others do not.
When the restores do not work it sits at performing restore and never completes. The last few entries in the PHP log file are always:
loading controller from db
setting controller status to 800
There are no other entries generated while the process sits there processing.
I've checked the temp folders in moodledata and the 1.9 zip gets extracted and converted to a 2.5 structure OK. If we 'break' the restore and check the course it has part created and only 1 file is included in the legacy course files ( when there could be 10 /20 /100 etc. ).
If I remove all the course files out of the 1.9 zip it creates OK ( but others with files in create OK also! )
Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot?
