I've restricted restoring on my install of Moodle 2.2.3. I'm still allowing teachers to do backups.
The issue is that by restricting the ability to restore the teachers can't access the course backup area because it is under the restore option. Is there anyone else experiencing this and found a workaround.
I would think that either the course backup area should display under both the "Backup" and "Restore" pages so that they can be accessed either way. Or on the restore page it should just hide the restore link and still allow a user to upload and download backup files while preventing and actual restore.
Any thoughts?
