Each semester I have to do backups and restores for instructors. Typically, this process takes about 10 minutes apiece, and I have potentially hundreds of them to do.
I was wondering if anyone has created a batch process for backing up and restoring courses. Ideally, what I would like to do is push a file that contains a list of sources and destinations using course short names. The sources will then be backed up, then restored to the destinations, and after the course has been restored, delete the backup file. This would save me a ton of work, as I am sure it would save many others. Any leads or tips would be appreciated!
