Some of the roles don't exist on the new server. I do get the option to map the roles to those available on the new server.

I choose the desired roles for each role at this step, then click 'continue'. This then goes to the page that starts executing the restore (has that progress bar). After a few seconds, this step aborts and redirects to the error messages posted in my OP.
