So when you restored, you must have selected to restore enrollments as manual enrollments. And I am guessing that you did not select to backup/restore enrollment methods. But either way, you are going to have to edit or re-add the meta course enrollment method because moodle has no way of knowing that you expect it to pull from another course that you have created so it will either pull from the original course or the enrollment method just won't pull across.
