Yes, thanks for this - but I need more information to just start changing the core-code of Moodle.
Perhaps someone can assist here telling me which exact lines need to be changed.
Also, shouldn't we report this as a tracker or was it the intend of Moodle to make the backup proces safer and are we undoing that extra safety by changing this function?
