Re: Course backup and Moodle version

I just the hard way that you can't rely on the restored course backed up in 4.2. I used to restore 3.9-backed up courses to 3.6 with a "warning" but no problems. However, I just made some tweaks to a course and backed it up in 4.2, but then when I tried to restore to a site running 3.9 .... none of my quiz questions showed up! Unfortunately, I over-wrote the earlier backup done in 3.9, so I am going to have a lot of work to do to undo that mistake.
BTW - I have about 60 instances of Moodle running on my server (each one serving a different school) and the versions vary from 3.6 up to 4.2. Thus, the price of upgrading....
