One follow up ... advise taking some asprin before contemplating or trying cause it could cause a 'brain pain'!
My suggestions as to how to create desired reset course templates, didn't restrict access to a file system repo that only individual teachers/instructors could access ... can forsee that a teacher seeking to restore one of their shells might have a course ID of 253 and file system repo that contained the shells a course ID 252 and or a course ID 254 could be mistakenly chosen to restore.
Moosh has also a 'file-upload' command which looks like it could upload a specific teachers backups to restore in their private files area - not seen by other teachers.
