I also think that too many bugs, with good information in tracker item, and with code available (perhaps not perfect) are waiting really too much time before being integrated.

I've recently tried to explain that in the developer forum, and asked if dedicated period for correcting bugs could be included in the release process, but or i wasn't clear, or it didn't gain attention from developpers, nor from Moodle HQ, or nobody wants to change how things work.

I already posted something in the same way of advantages of correcting bugs soon two years ago
