This forum is actually more for course backup and restore.
But, 1. Moodledata folder should not be inside the moodle folder.
2. If you were just upgrading, you should have only done the following - after taking backups of moodle, moodledata and database, you should copy any plugins folders and the config.php file from your old moodle code folder to the new moodle code folder. Then rename the existing moodle code folder to moodle.bk or moodle.old and the new moodle code folder to moodle (or whatever your original folder was called) - then go to the site and let it go through the upgrade.
You should not be importing database when you already have a working one. Unless you were switching servers in the process....
