I made a backup for my moodle by following these steps:
1- I exported the Database through the moodle admminer
2- I made a copy to moodle, moodledata directory inside the server folder
3- I downloaded new moodle and install it
After that i made a restore to my moodle site by following these steps:
1- I made an import to the exported Database into the moodle admminer of the new moodle
2- I put the moodle , moodledata folder that I copied into the new moodle folder
3- I changed the dbname, prefix and other information in the config.php file to the new database.
after that when i stop and start the Moodle i found this message (error to read from database)
and then, when i open the site i found this message:
Error: Database connection failed
It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly.
The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php.
and when I stop Moodle I read(Can't find MySQL process #26396.)
