Hello, we are currently reviewing our overall moodle backup strategy. This process has brought out many issues. Do most institutions have Service Level Agreements?
How do most institutions handle file retrieval in case of accidental deletion? How far back can you go and how do you accomplish it?
We save a daily database dump as well as a copy of the moodledata directory. This is becoming more difficult as the storage requirements for our moodledata directory is increasing at a very fast rate. It may no longer be feasible to maintain daily moodledata backups.
Would love to get some feedback on backup policies and processes.
