Yesterday I got a log file on the server in the folder moodledata/temp/backup. The content is:
[ons 19 jan 2022 22:01:25 CET] [error] backup_auto_failed_on_course dataanalyse
There is also a folder with the same name as the log file.
There are more log files but without content.

One of the most resent course backups are marked as 'OK' in administration → Reports → Backups, the rest is marked as 'Skipped' or 'Queued' - but the course with the error log is marked as 'Unfinished', so at least that makes sense.
