I am really struggling with some old courses. I have "full site backup" where the courses containing quizzes do work. The Installation is more than 10 years old and has been upgraded since up to Moodle 3.5.
Things I have tried so far:
Backing up with the cli-tool (backup.php) in the /admin/cli folder. It takes a very long time but the backup finishes with no error. I get a course.mbz and try to restore it in a new Installation (Moodle 3.9.11)
When restoring the mbz via moosh it warns me, that restoring the user admin will produce errors. It also shows lots of errors regarding quiz categories. It says that the category is a system or course category and will be restored in course context. In fact I get an empty course.
I got a hint that maybe restoring as a new course has a bug and i should create an empty course where i should restore the course inside of it. This also fails with the same error.
I run out of Ideas but i really need these courses. How can I restore the course with quizzes?
