We have a strange situation that has started since our upgrade to 3.9 (from 3.5). Our course enrolments are managed with the Banner LMB plugin that processes live enrolment events from Banner.
What is happening now is that instructors are updating their empty course shells by importing content from previous terms. When the import completes, the Banner LMB enrolment method is no longer present in the course, and all those Banner enrolments are gone - students and instructors. This is obviously a problem and is causing some significant panic among our faculty.
For now, I can just manually add the LMB enrolment method for the course in the mdl_enrol table and re-fire the registration events from Banner, but I sure would like to figure out why this is happening suddenly.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
