Did your team ever think of an updater that works like this?

1. Make a backup of your old Moodle data folder in the format olddatafolder-backup
2. Make a backup of your old Moodle code folder in the format oldmoodlefolder-backup

> What is the URL of the old(er) Moodle you're updating (the URL of the backup folder)?
> What is the URL of the new Moodle you want to install?
> What is the username and password to login to your old Moodle?

> What username and password do you want to use to log into your new Moodle?

Creating new Moodle file structure . . .
Copying important files from the old Moodle to the new Moodle . . .
Updating your old database for use with the new Moodle . . .

All done.
