I tried it (being extra careful to ensure everything was checked, green, etc. on both the backup and the restore - well, "Anonymize user information" and "IMS Common Cartridge 1.1" were not checked) and then checked the number of entries in the log (after restore) and it says there are a grand total of 350 of them. I cannot believe this is right as there were 11 quizzes with 70 students, plus all the files to download, URL links to check out, forums, etc.
I do not have full admin rights to the production server so I cannot verify the number of log entries in production (as I cannot install the ad-hoc report plugin there).
I looked on the production site's (v3.1) logs and when clicking on "Logs" or "Activity report" I get the message "No log reader enabled." Is there any other way to identify what's the log on the production server? Could it be that the production site simply did not record the student activity?
