Thanks for your willingness to help. Below is a screen shot of what I see when I click on Backup. I´m new to this and don´t know how to debug. Could you walk me through the steps. Thanks again for your help. Mark Riggs

| Huh? That's the 'exact' error as reported by the Moodle? Or is it an apache error page? Screen shot of what you are seeing would help. Have you turned on debugging ... all the way to developer ... and then try the backup again. Get anything reported by Moodle? 'spirit of sharing', Ken
