In Moodle you can choose to have your course automated backup storage in the course backup area and/or in a specified directory.
I would like to know if Moodle handles files equal for course backup files as for user files, in a Unix-like way, we could call it with Moodle hard links? Or do you double up your hard disk usage for backup files if you choose both a custom directory and the course backup area?
