Not sure if this should go in Backup and Restore or the Quiz..
I've been having issues with the gradebook categories and we recently upgraded and now I want to test and see if there is still an issue. Instead of using the real courses (done it before and it messed it up even more) I copy and restored the course. It's a course with tons of quizzes and quiz questions. I restored one with users and one without. It worked (took forever though) but now when I go into grades/setup/categories and items I do not see the sub categories there. All quizzes are just under 1 default a category. I'm still testing to see if stuff works but I have a feeling that I'm not properly testing it because there are no categories.
Why would gradebook categories not restore?
