backup email error versus logs

Hello

In my automated backup email notification I receive an error:

Courses; 4
  OK; 2
  Skipped; 0
  Error; 0
  Unfinished; 2
  Warning; 0
  Automated backup pending; 0

  Some of your courses weren't saved!!

When I view the logs in the site I see that the status for all four courses is OK. Which is correct and how do I validate that?
