restore course from linux to windows

Hi all,

has anyone backed up a course in Moodle 2.x in linux and restored that to Moodle 2.x in Windows? I'm trying to switch hosting and server. I've got a brand new Moodle 2.x installation in Windows, but i don't know how to migrate my Moodle 2.x linux over to to windows. any help is appreciated.
